Below is an email that I received from the J.O. Regional meet director, Kim Kuetsch. Please forward to those who are attending the Regional meet.
I just found out today that the directions we gave to get to SFCC will not work. Our city has many of the streets under construction and two of the ones listed for directions started with construction this week. There is an outside chance it may be completed by then, but not likely. Can you please pass out these directions to SFCC to as many people as you can? I am trying to find out if we can post signs for the freeway exit to SFCC, for this alternate route.
Directions coming from downtown: Go West on 2nd Ave.
Coming from the I-90 take the Maple St. exit: go north on Maple, then left on 2nd Ave.
Then, the directions are the same from both locations:
2nd Ave turns into to Sunset Blvd. Stay on Sunset Blvd, at light at Government Way take a right. Go past Cemetery, and Life Center Church (huge church), take a right at the traffic Light, which is Ft. Wright Dr. Top of hill, track is on your left.
